Luigi Zeni

MA degree in Japanese Studies and East-Asian Art History from the University of Zürich. Currently, Luigi is researching the topic of mingei 民芸 – folk art/crafts – with a focus on Japanese ceramics and the contemporary scene of Japanese craftsmanship. He spent one year at Osaka University as an exchange student and acquired an insight into the fascinating and complex world of Japanese arts and crafts. His other fields of interest are Japanese purification practices, such as misogi 禊 and ōharae 大祓.
